Those who want to express solidarity for the Women’s March on Washington can do so right in Yellow Springs on Saturday, Jan. 21. Marchers will at 1 p.m. meet at the weekly Peace Vigil on the corner of Xenia Avenue and Limestone Street. Next, marchers will walk up and down Xenia Avenue through town for an hour or more.
Organizers aim for a peaceful march of unity and love rather than hate, sentiments they hope will be reflected in any signs or banners. They are requesting no anti-new president signs, as hard as that may be to do.
The march aims to represent the voices of progressive people around the world.
