YS Zombie Walk returns for ninth year

The ninth annual YS Zombie Walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, with events beginning at 5 p.m. on Corry Street in downtown Yellow Springs. The evening will feature a variety of events for all ages, including kids’ activities, food trucks, booths, makeup artists and live music. International indie rapper MC Lars will headline the musical lineup at the festival; also performing will be Duderus, Yikes! a Band and DJ JFX.
The Zombie Walk itself will begin around 9 p.m.; the event is free, but suggested donation is $5 or a nonperishable food item. All proceeds will be donated to YS Home, Inc., the John Bryan Youth Center and the YS Food Pantry.
