Word from the Village of Yellow Springs is that the Beggar’s Night bonfires are canceled due to concerns over high winds.

Other trick or treat activities are still slated, including the distribution of delicious treats from police and fire-rescue vehicles, from 6 to 8 p.m., although trick-or-treaters are advised to be extra cautious on roads because of the windy, rainy weather.

Please call the Yellow Springs Police non-emergency number, 937-767-7206, with any questions or concerns, and check the Yellow Springs News website and Facebook page for any late-breaking updates.
