At the Monday, Nov. 21, Village Council meeting, Council members voted down a 2% solid waste fee that would have drawn in funds for educational materials aimed at reducing the amount of organic waste villagers send with their solid waste.

Greene County’s number of new cases fell for the week of Nov. 10–16, with 100, compared to 155 for the week of Nov. 3–9. The 45387 ZIP reported no new cases, compared to four the week before.

Josephine Ann “JoAnn” Mace, age 74, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love and family on Nov. 22, 2022.

Robert Dan “Bob” Dixon, died peacefully in his sleep, at his home in Hot Springs, North Carolina, on Thursday, Nov. 17.
