Fairl (Eagle) Zurbuchen, 84, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, died at home Dec. 22, 2023, after living a long, energetic, very active and fulfilling life.

Carla Ruth Cunningham Scherr, 61, of Woodbridge, Virginia, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, in Bethesda, Maryland.

Kimberly Susan Johnson passed from this life Jan. 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with dementia. She was born Sept. 5, 1956, in Springfield, Ohio, the eldest child of Joseph and Shirley (Goff) Fugate.

Local resident Molly Finch’s multiyear journey of mountainous highs and dumpster lows is the topic of a public presentation at Wright State University on Saturday, Feb. 10, 4:45 p.m., as a part of Five River MetroParks and the university’s Adventure Summit.
