They did it again: the Minor League Winds Cafe Indians repeated as regular season champions, finishing the 2014 season with a 7–1 record after taking a pair of games last week to seal the top spot for the second straight year.

Minor League’s Reds trump Pirates
The 2014 Minor League season kicked off Saturday, June 14, with a decisive 14–5 win by the Sam and Eddie’s Open Books Reds over the Tom’s Market Pirates. The Reds jumped out to an early 2–1 first inning lead and never looked back.

Minor League Indians’ major win
The Minor League Indians finished out the season last week as league champions with a 12–0 undefeated record, and then just held off a surging Pirates team to also take the post-season tournament championship on Sunday evening.
