The Sam and Eddie’s Open Books Braves sailed through the 2018 Minor League post season tournament and took the championship in a 17–11 decision over the Peach’s Dodgers in the season finale on Saturday, July 28.

The Adoption Link Braves wrapped up the 2018 Major League Championship by splitting the season’s final two games last week with the Sunrise Café Indians.

Another week of improvement in every Minor League team’s performance ended with the Tom’s Market Pirates maintaining their position atop the standings a little more than half-way through the season.

The Tom’s Market Pirates lost their first game of the season in last week’s play and saw their lead over the Nipper’s Corner Reds fall to just half a game.

Despite winning only one game last week and battling to a tie in another, the Tom’s Market Pirates still hold a two game lead in the Minor League standings.

The Minor League’s Tom’s Market Pirates jumped out to an early season one-game lead with a pair of wins in last week’s play and remain undefeated at 3–0.

The Tom’s Market Pirates looked impressive, taking the Minor League season opener over the Peach’s Dodgers 16–8 on Saturday, June 9. 

The 2018 Major League rec baseball season opened Saturday, June 2, with the Sunrise Café Indians taking an 18–12 victory over the Yellow Springs Toy Company Pirates.

The Peach’s Dodgers captured the 2017 Minor League Post-Season Tournament Championship with a 15–11 victory over the Sam and Eddie’s Open Books Orioles in the season’s final game on Sunday, July 30.
