Perry League | T-ball season ends with smiles
Time most certainly flies. Perry League Summer 2022 is a wrap! Although the final game on July 29 was abbreviated due to the annual cookout picnic, there was plenty of action on the T-ball field.

Carolyn Ardith Smith Treadway, 88, lately of Friends Care Community in Yellow Springs, Ohio, died a little after noon on July 15, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on Sept. 17, 1933, at Emro Farm near Coal Creek, in Keokuk County, Iowa, she was the first of four children of Irving and Mary (Emmons) Smith.

Karl Mahle, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, teacher and friend died peacefully at his home in Louisville, Colo., on June 30, with his wife, Maggie, by his side. He was 86.

For the third week in a row, Greene County is listed as having a “high” community level for COVID-19 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, according to its most recent weekly update, released Thursday, July 21.

Perry League fosters relationships
Elves must have visited Gaunt Park this week. The T-ball infield looked professionally maintained starkly different than last week’s muddy swamp. We send our gratitude to those elves.
