Deidra Kay (Willis) Shular, daughter of the late David and Diana Willis, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at the age of 48. She lived in Dayton, Ohio.

Emmett Abati Doe — aka Emmett Thaddeus Doe Jr. — passed away on Jan. 10, 2022, at the Lyons Place 2, an independent living facility for senior citizens in Dayton, Ohio. He was 80.

YS schools reported 13 positive cases, with seven among middle/high school students, four Mills Lawn students and two district staff.

Marcia Lou Mason, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, in Upper Marlboro, Md., where she had moved to be closer to her daughter’s family. She was 87.
