Marie Payton died at Columbia St. Mary’s hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was 88 years old.

Shawn Edward Smith, 43, passed away suddenly in his Honeoye, N.Y., residence on April 27, 2018.

Sam Bachtell, a longtime Yellow Springs resident, died on April 23.

The Second Restorative Justice Conference will be held on June 1 and 2 in Yellow Springs. The conference will focus on the relevant topic of “Healing Harms In Sexual and Family Violence.”
