On September 19th Leon Holster passed away at Friends Care Center.

LaGora Marie (Smith) Lind, retired LPN at Community East Hospital and resident of New Palestine, Ind., died Sept. 11, 2016, joining in death many valued friends.

Ending her 88 years in her earthly body, Marthalee Schaub died on Sept. 3, 2016.

The festival, which started at 9 a.m. on the grounds of Mills Lawn School and went strong until the rains came mid-afternoon, featured about 80 vendors of handmade items with an indie spirit. Cyclops Fest was one of numerous events that took place in the village over the weekend.
