For service on the Village’s Utility Dispute Resolution Board

To commemorate the International Day of Peace and the Dayton Accord, Peace Dayton will sponsor events through Sept. 29 in Dayton and surrounding communities.

Registration is now open for the second annual Yellow Springs 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Antioch College, to be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 8–11:30 a.m.

Richard Thomas Phillips, age 82, of Yellow Springs, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at Kettering Medical Center.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Barbara L. Hardman (“Nurse Barb”) is planned for Sunday, Sept. 13, 3 p.m., in the Herndon Gallery at Antioch College.

Dr. Suheil Badi’ Bushrui, local resident, distinguished scholar and tireless champion of the cause of peace, passed away on Sept. 2 at the age of 85.

Anita J. (Taylor) Sanderson, 85, of Xenia, formerly of Yellow Springs, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at Hospice of Dayton.
