Kimberly (Murphy) Alanzo passed away this Saturday, May 30. She was the dearly beloved daughter of Wanita Murphy, former owner of the Emporium for almost 30 years.

Virginia (Ginny) Brintlinger Willey passed away Thursday, May 28, at the Hospice House of Williamsburg, following a six-month struggle with leukemia.

David William Prince, 73, of Athens, died on Sunday, May 17, at St. Ann’s Mt. Carmel Hospital in Westerville, Ohio, from complications of neck spine surgery.

Dozens of Yellow Springs High School and Greene County Career Center students were recognized at the school’s annual academic awards ceremony held on May 15.

Stefan Minde, of Portland, Ore., died in hospice on May 22 at the age of 79.
