Cold, snow, cold, snow, cold, snow — that’s pretty much the way things went last weekend in the village, to the delight of nature photographers and kids of all ages who got a snow day out of school. Above, left, Zane Pergram took Gaunt Park hill by snowboard, while Arielle Johnson and her mother, Jennifer, right, found that even going down backwards could be a whole lot of fun. Below left, snow transformed the bridge over Birch Creek at Glen Helen into a study of forms, while at right, a snowy sentinel greeted passersby at a village windowpane.
