  • Village Council votes down mask ordinance update

    At its regular virtual meeting on Monday, Oct. 18, held via Zoom, Council attempted to pass an emergency ordinance to update the wording on the Village mask mandate.

  • Pat Murphy

    Pat Murphy, of Yellow Springs, passed away at Soin Hospital on Oct. 1, 2021, from pneumonia. He was 82 years old. A full obituary will appear in an upcoming issue of the News.

  • Joseph L. Dowdell

    Joseph L. Dowdell, two-term mayor and longtime resident of Yellow Springs, passed away on Oct. 6, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital, after a brief illness. He was 86.
