Joel Renner Williams was born Sept. 12, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, and died Feb. 21, 2022, aged 82 years, at Mt. Carmel Grove City Hospital in Grove City, Ohio, from complications due to pancreatic cancer.

Sharon L. Hatfield, beloved twin sister of Shirley Hatfield, transitioned peacefully on Feb. 21, 2022. Sharon was 81, born in Dayton, Ohio, on Jan. 5, 1941.

Donald E. Lewis passed away on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, at the Springfield Masonic Community. He was born at home in Yellow Springs, Ohio, on Sept. 14, 1943, to the late R.H. (Red) Lewis and Claris (Alspaugh) Lewis.

Keith Robert Greiffenhagen, a longtime resident of Yellow Springs, was born on Nov. 17, 1964, and passed away on Feb. 21, 2022, after a tragic accident.

Judy Peck was born on Sept. 1, 1941, in Akron, Ohio, to Jacob and Evelyn Reiter. On Jan. 5, 2022, she passed away fighting a short battle with cancer.

COVID-19 case numbers and hospitalizations continue to decline across Ohio from the mid-January peak fueled by the Omicron variant.
