Yellow Springs will celebrate Martin Luther King Day on Monday, Jan. 18, with the traditional, in-person MLK Day March, but the MLK Day program following the march will be offered in an online format; those planning to attend the online program must register in advance.

Robert J. Parks, of Yellow Springs, passed away on Dec. 31, 2020. He was 64.

Charles W. Benning of Yellow Springs, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021. He was 97.

Michael Collins Cronin passed away on Jan. 5, 2021, at his home on Merrion St. Upper, Dublin, Ireland. He was 91.

Meredith Hartnagle Carpe died peacefully in her sleep at her family’s home in Greenville, Ohio, on Jan. 3, after a three-year battle with breast cancer. She was 39.

Charlotte Battino died on Monday, Dec. 28.
