Lavina Ann Paul, age 83, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017.

The McKinney and YSHS theater departments will expand their offerings this fall with the first Bulldog Theater Festival, which will bring two theatrical performances to local audiences.

A community potluck to bring together residents of Yellow Springs and the surrounding area with students, faculty, and staff is being held on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 5–8:30 p.m. at Antioch College.

William (Bill) Blocker died Saturday, Sept. 16, at Hospice of Dayton. He was 92.

Carol Leslie Smith (Vondruska) Shutley, age 61, died on Sept. 13, 2017, in Austell, Georgia. Funeral services were held Sept. 18 in nearby Hiram.

Ronald Eugene Benton of Springfield passed away in his home at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017.
