Alice Jean (Fink) Allen passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 24 in Xenia, where she had been a resident at Hospitality Homes in recent years. She was 84.

The Yellow Springs Board of Education has placed village schools on a two-hour delay for Wednesday, Jan. 29 due to the continuing extreme cold.

The Yellow Springs Board of Education has closed village schools Tuesday, Jan. 27 due to extremely cold weather. All after-school events and sports are canceled as well.
