At the Feb. 7 Village Council meeting, a citizen urged the Village to reconsider its tree-trimming policy in the wake of the recent ice storm that knocked out power for 80 percent of village homes.

Earl “Petey” Hull
Villager Earl "Petey" Hull died July 1, 2024; he was 83. Visitaiton will be held Friday, July 19, 10 a.m., with services at 11 a.m., at Central Chapel, AME, 411 S. High St. Interment will be in the Hull Family plot at Tar Box Cemetery in Wilberforce. A full obituary will appear in an upcoming issue of the News.
