Rick Santorum was the big winner in the village and township in the Super Tuesday presidential primary, garnering 150 votes compared to 104 votes for Mitt Romney.

Local voters will take to the polls Tuesday in the Ohio primary election to choose candidates who will face off in November.

Sarah Hammond of Yellow Springs died Friday, March 2 in an automobile accident in Bowling Green. She was 21.

Gregory Paul Frank, artist extraordinaire, died Feb. 29. He was 65.

Yellow Springs’ founders and early settlers didn’t have Internet — they probably couldn’t have imagined it — but later generations are now using it to imagine the lives of former villagers.
