    Every child under five in Greene County is now eligible to receive a free book in the mail once a month.

  • ‘News’ deadlines moved up for holiday weeks

    The deadline for submissions will be moved up to noon on Monday for the weeks of Christmas and New Year's.

    The News office will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 for Christmas and on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for New Year’s. The deadline for submissions for these weeks will be moved up to noon on Monday.
