‘News’ deadlines moved up for holiday weeks

The holidays are fast approaching, and the News team is looking forward to spending some time with family and friends this season. The News office will be closed this year on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 24 and 25 for Christmas, as well as on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for New Year’s celebrations.
Since these holidays fall in the middle of our production week, the deadline for submitted content (classifieds, display ads, letters to the editor, announcements), which is usually 5 p.m. on Monday, will be moved up to noon on Monday for the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s. Classifieds can be submitted online via the website under the “Classifieds” tab at the top of the page, or by emailing classifieds@ysnews.com. Announcements and letters may also be submitted via the website under the “Submissions” tab, or by emailing ysnews@ysnews.com. For display ad queries, email advert@ysnews.com.
For both weeks, subscribers will receive their papers one day late. For more information, call the News office at 767-7373.
