Scouting for food
- Published: April 10, 2014
Mills Lawn fourth-grader C.J. Cooper, a Webelo in Pack 362, recently spent time in Xenia, where many of his other pack members live, “Scouting for food,” an annual Boy Scout-led food drive. The food they collected went to the Xenia food bank. When C.J. returned home to Yellow Springs, he decided to do his own scouting for food. With the help of his Omar Circle neighbors he was able to drop off about 50 food items to the Yellow Springs food bank last week.
