The Greene County Public Library Foundation will host the “Books and Beer” fundraiser, which supports the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, at Yellow Springs Brewery on Monday, Oct. 3, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

The Village of Yellow Springs is in the market for new signs for the John Bryan Community Center — and they’re looking for inspiration among Yellow Springs’ own bevy of creative talent.

In preparation for the annual Apple Fest, the First Presbyterian Church will hold a volunteer Apple Bee on Oct. 7.

The Antioch School’s annual bike ride and fundraiser, “Anything on Wheels,” is happening this Sunday, Sept. 25, noon to 3 p.m. Riders of unicycles, bikes, trikes and more are welcome!

On September 19th Leon Holster passed away at Friends Care Center.

At Village Council’s Sept. 6 meeting, Council approved a settlement between the Village and Sergeant Naomi (Penrod) Watson, following a charge filed by Watson last spring with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, or OCRC.

Stephen “Steve” Gegner, born May 25, 1941, has gone to be with the Great Aikido Master in the sky on Sept. 11, 2016.
