Artists sought to create new Bryan Center signs
- Published: September 24, 2016
The Village of Yellow Springs is in the market for new signs for the John Bryan Community Center — and they’re looking for inspiration among Yellow Springs’ own bevy of creative talent.
With oversight from the Art and Culture Commission, the Village is looking to commission a local artist or artists to create two new signs: one to replace the current Bryan Center sign, and another for John Bryan Community Pottery. According to the Village’s official call to artists, the signs should be created in “a style that reflects village values and shall be representative of Yellow Springs.”
Proposals should be submitted to Village Manager Patti Bates at p.bates@vil.yellowsprings.oh.us by Nov. 4. They may also be mailed to the Village of Yellow Springs, Art and Culture Commission, 100 Dayton Street, Yellow Springs, 45387.
