2016 Year in Review: village schools

Police Chief Dave Hale announced his resignation, in a statement read by Village Manager Patti Bates at tonight’s special Council meeting. The meeting addressed police tactics that caused distress and chaos for many at the recent New Year’s Eve Ball Drop.

“Living in Divided States,” an exhibit of the work of about 50 area artists, is on display at the Herndon Gallery of the Antioch College campus.

The traditional Yellow Springs ball drop turned ugly on New Year’s Eve when police drove through the crowd at 12:08 a.m.

I do not have answers. I have a lot of questions.

Many Yellow Springs High School and Greene County Career Center students were recognized at the school’s annual academic awards ceremony held on May 16.
