A special quilt in honor of Faith Patterson was unveiled at the Yellow Springs library on Feb. 22. Created by Faith’s friend Maxine Thomas, the handmade quilt features squares representing aspects of Faith’s life, bordered by African-patterned fabric. “It was a labor of love,” she said. About 40 people gathered at the library to remember Faith and view the quilt, which will be on display near the library’s front doors for the next month.
