Cresco, Village close on land sale
Cresco and the Village of Yellow Springs closed Tuesday on the sale of eight acres of land in the land known as the Center for Business and Education, or CBE, where Cresco plans to build a facility for the cultivation of medical marijuana.

Celebrate YS banner festival, YSAC permanent collection
This weekend villagers are invited to celebrate two events beloved to the local arts community — the Yellow Springs Banner Festival, an annual event for more than two decades that ended in 2012, and the return of the Yellow Springs Arts Council, or YSAC, permanent collection to the John Bryan Community Center.

Original plays grace stage at 10-minute plays fest

School board approves May levy
At its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, Jan. 11, the Yellow Springs School Board approved a “resolution to proceed” to place a 4.7-mill permanent improvement levy and a 0.25 percent income tax levy on the May 8 ballot.
