Hike with a guide at John Bryan this Saturday

Hikers are invited to enjoy a free guided hike through Little Miami River Gorge this Saturday, Feb. 17, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Gathered at the day lodge at John Bryan State Park, groups of hikers will set out at 10-minute intervals, beginning the six mile hike and guided tour of historical sites and geological features.
The temperature will be in the low thirties, and the wind, humidity, and cloud cover will make it feel like low twenties on Saturday morning according to The Weather Channel. Sturdy shoes and warm clothes are recommended. Hot beans and cornbread will be available for donations at the half-way point
The event is co-sponsored by ODNR’s John Bryan State Park and Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. Call the preserve manager at 537-6173, or the park manager at (614)949-7998 for more information.
