Thanks to the work of the YS Active Transportation Committee, the Village of Yellow Springs received a grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation/Ohio Department of Health that covers the full cost to complete an active transportation plan for our community.
The goal of this initiative is to develop a high quality integrated surface transportation system that contributes to improved quality of life for Villagers by promoting safety, recreation, environmental sustainability, health, equity/inclusion and economic development.
Please get involved in this process to help create viable strategies to fix our sidewalks and improve conditions for citizens of all ages using non-motorized transportation and mobility devices.
