Joe Freeman took his curtain call as the eponymous Bigfoot in the Yellow Springs High School’s closing production of “The Bigfoot Diaries” last Sunday. The play — written by Russell Stich of Ohio’s Something Dada improvisational troupe and poet and author Nancy Nixon — was a high school premier and only its second performance. It addressed differences, acceptance, family and prejudice through the vehicle of dark comedy. Next on stage will be “Scrooge,” which is an all-school collaboration.
