Bulldogs triumph in close win
The Yellow Springs High School boys varsity basketball team traveled to Lewisburg Tuesday, Jan. 14, where the Bulldogs triumphed against Tri-County North in a close contest. The final 48–46 score reflected a team win with many contributors.
The team next played a home game against inter-conference rival Legacy Christian on Tuesday, Jan. 21, details of which will be reported in next week’s News.
The Bulldogs will be home again Friday, Jan. 24, against Middletown Christian. And on Monday, Jan. 27, the Bulldogs take on out-of-conference opponent East Dayton Christian in an away game.
These are winnable games, and the team is looking forward to taking on the challenge.

McKinney boys win with team effort
The McKinney Middle School boys basketball team produced their first win of the new 2020 new year with a great team effort.
Monday, Jan. 13, the boys faced the Waynesville Middle School Spartans and dominated with a 30–19 win.
Eighth graders Isaac Grushon and Kellen Scott both had six points each, followed closely by Sam Miller and Kaveeyon Wagner with four points each.
Other key contributors were seventh graders Alex VanAusdal, with seven points, and Landon Harris, with three points.
This week, the Bulldogs are scheduled to face off against Spring Valley Academy, away, Tuesday, Jan 21, and Middletown Christian, at home, Thursday, Jan 23.
