The Village of Yellow Springs is planning to shut down power to the entire village for approximately 10 minutes Wednesday, September 14, from 5:30 – 5:40 a.m.
After the Village-wide power outage on Sunday, September 11, 2022, Village crews inspected all equipment at the switch station and discovered damaged voltage regulators. The regulators were deemed an imminent threat to the electrical grid and will be repaired during the outage.
Any villagers whose health may be jeopardized by the outage should call the Yellow Springs Police Department at 937-767-7206.
