From penning innovative literature and producing surreal films; to painting, poeticizing and performing — Yellow Springs artists covered ample creative ground in 2024.

The Yellow Springs Public Arts and Culture Commission held the annual Village Inspiration and Design, or VIDA, award ceremony Saturday, Nov. 16, in Herndon Gallery at Antioch College.

The Varsity Bulldogs suffered another pair of losses last week, falling 55–60 in a close nonconference match-up against  Tri-County North Tuesday, Dec. 3; and 48–57 to conference rivals Legacy Christian Academy, Friday, Dec. 6.

Hundreds of villagers and visitors gathered downtown Saturday, Dec. 7, for the annual tree-lighting event.

On Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 28, an estimated 200 local residents turned out for the annual community meal at First Presbyterian Church.
