Deborah J. Fugett, age 62, was a resident of Yellow Springs when she passed from the earth on April 20, 2018.  She died peacefully at home from complications of an illness.

Bike/Walk to School Day at Mills Lawn School 

The AACW and Omega Music will host a “Backyard Blues” series event on Saturday, May 5, 6–10 p.m., at 318 E. Fifth St. in Dayton. The event is a fundraiser for the 20th anniversary celebration of the AACW Blues, Jazz and Gospel Fest.

All youth ages 7–11 are eligible to play in the coach-pitched Minor League, with the season to begin in early June.

Buddhist meditation guiding teacher Rebecca Bradshaw will return to the Yellow Springs Dharma Center on Thursday, May 3, to give a talk at 8 p.m. titled “Four Faces of Compassion.”

Villager Sam Bachtell passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, surrounded by loved ones.

Longtime villager and massage therapist Deborah Fugett died Friday, April 20, at her West North College Street home.
