Mary Florence Gray, age 98, of Greene County, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at Hospice of Dayton.

Anthony Lamar Brandon, 38, a Yellow Springs native, died Oct. 11 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On several evenings this fall, in the YS Senior Center’s Great Room, a chorus of shifting paper, scribbling pencils and insightful suggestions are illuminating a string of personal and nonfiction stories.

“It’s also important to note the difference between a boundary and a rule — and it’s never too early to teach children that difference.”

For the second year in a row, both the McKinney Middle School boys and girls cross-country teams won the Metro Buckeye Conference championships, held Friday, Oct. 11, at Emmanuel Christian Academy.
