Joan Osterman Yalman died at home on March 18. She was 83. Although raised in New York City, Joan learned to love small town life when she and Richard moved to Yellow Springs, where Richard taught chemistry at Antioch College.

Wilma Lea (Boyd) Willis, of Yellow Springs, died Tuesday, March 17. She was 75. She was born Aug. 1, 1933, a daughter of Elza and Hazel (Euton) Boyd in Rarden, Ohio. Wilma was a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Church in Yellow Springs.

James “Jim” Marion Richardson died at Friends Care Center on March 1. He was 78 years old. The son of Marion Webster Richardson and Dorothy Wolfe Richardson, he was born March 23, 1930, in Highland Park, Ill.

Rebecca A. Bridgett of Xenia passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18. She was 49. She was born in Springfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Martha E. (Miller) Bridgett; two brothers, Jack and Scott Bridgett; and a brother-in-law, John Harrison.

Known for his cheerful, smiling demeanor, his quick willingness to help others, and his eclectic catalog of interests, Eric was loved by many in Yellow Springs and surrounding communities.
