Mighty crowds of joy

Many villagers marched Monday in honor of the ideals and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., top, on King’s birthday Monday. Marchers, including, from left to right, Amber Zanders, Hailey Qualls and Jaden Schular, started at Mills Lawn School and ended up at the Central Chapel AME Church. Below, on Tuesday a crowd filled the Emporium to witness the inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States.
