Baptist Tea draws crowd

Between 150 and 200 appreciative guests attended yesterday’s annual Baptist Tea, held at the church’s fellowship hall on Dayton Street. Sweets of all manner were consumed at the tea, during which Berniece Kirk, left, manned the punch bowl and Lorena Watkins helped to serve. The event was the 51st annual tea at the church.
