T-ball is up and running for summer

Perry League t-ball, the village’s non-competitive league for kids ages 2 to 9 who want to play baseball or just play in the dirt, is taking place at Gaunt Park every Friday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. All community children are welcome to take part.

According to Coach Jimmy Chesire, t-ball welcomes “all our community’s children regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, ability or disability, sexual or spiritual or religious orientation.” The season ends Friday evening, Aug. 8 at the annual Perry League trophy night/picnic, when all participating children receive trophies.
