Request For Bids Gaunt Park Field Improvements
1.1 SEALED BIDS will be received by the Village of Yellow Springs, Ohio until 10:00 a.m., (local time) on Monday, August 22, 2014 at the Office of the Village Manager, 100 Dayton Street, 2nd Floor, Yellow Springs, Ohio 45387, and publicly opened and read at that hour and place.
1.2 SCOPE OF WORK will consist of infield improvements (2 inch overlay of a 60% fine sand, 25% silt, and 15% clay, or approved field mix); Edge/remove all boundaries of infield (to provide crisp edges); Grade/level the skinned infields to allow for proper run-off; Supply, install and set new base anchors on all (3) infields of the major league baseball diamond, a softball diamond and little league baseball diamond located at 500 West South College Street, Yellow Springs, Ohio 45387.
1.3 The Village of Yellow Springs reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Village of Yellow Springs reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. The Village of Yellow Springs also reserves the right to hold all proposals for sixty (60) days. For further information and copies of the complete RFB, contact Jason Hamby at (937) 767-6633.
1.4 EACH BIDDER is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty (10% of the Bid Amount) and Contract Bond (100% of the Bid Amount) in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.
