VIDEO — Yellow Springs Community Foundation celebrates ecology

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

This year, the YS Community Foundation celebrates 40 years of contributions to the village’s many nonprofit endeavors. As part of that celebration, the foundation, with the cooperation of WYSO, is producing a series of five sound and slide pieces detailing some of its most important work in the village. The fourth piece in the series, below, focuses on the Community Foundation’s involvement with local nonprofits that work toward environmental safety and the preservation of green space in the Miami Valley.

To view the first three pieces in the series, which cover the history of the foundation, its contributions to seniors and health and arts and culture in the village, visit the Community Foundation’s YouTube page here. The final video in the series, which will feature the foundation’s work toward local education, will be screened at the foundation’s 40th anniversary celebration, the Three Hearts Masquerade Ball, to be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, 7–11 p.m., at the Antioch College Wellness Center.
