Last weekend for “Something Wicked This Way Comes”

The Yellow Springs Theater Company will stage the second weekend of its fall production, “Something Wicked This Way Comes,” this weekend at the First Presbyterian Church. Shows will take place at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21 and 22, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23. Admission is $10 at the door.

The play, based on the Ray Bradbury novel, tells the story of two children who get drawn into a mysterious carnival that shows up in a small Midwestern town every 60 years. Playing the parts of the children are Leif Walters and Luka Sage-Frabotta. The play features about 20 actors, with most from Yellow Springs.

Director is Miriam Eckenrode-Saari.

“The large ensemble cast has been a lot of fun to work with,” she said in a recent interview. “They have really been transforming themselves.”
