This year the peach trees at Flying Mouse Farm navigated the late frost, spring rains, and pollination season without a scrape. They produced beautiful juicy fruit that we are now delighting in eating. The skin is a firm fuzzy rind; the flesh is bright orange and dripping of its uncommon nectar.
Oh, the peach is my favorite fruit and now is the time of its harvest. I am in bliss.
