Carter McAllister, great-grandson of villager Patti McAllister, sized up Santa in his first visit at last Saturday’s Breakfast with Santa at the United Methodist Church. While it was touch-and-go for a while, Carter eventually gave the jolly red-suited guy a thumbs-up. Carter and his father, Jake McAllister, of Dayton, came to Yellow Springs to visit Jake’s grandmother, and to attend the annual holiday event, which was crowded with kids and parents.
