At the most recent Village Council meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 8, Village Council approved several pieces of legislation in connection with outgoing Village Manager Johnnie Burns’ resignation, which he announced at a special meeting last month.

The inaugural Cult Movie Campout, featuring four horror flicks that involve “camp” in every sense of the word, will debut Saturday, Sept. 12, at Butter Flower Farm. The night will feature live music, vendors and screenings of cult films “Sleepaway Camp,” “Cannibal Campout,” “Camp Blood Christmas” and “Don’t F–k In the Woods.”

Danielle “Dawn” Ayana Williams was born in Florida on July 22, 2005, and tragically passed on Sept. 4, 2026.
