Yellow Springs High School will host a “drive-in” style graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020 on Wednesday, May 27. The special event will begin with a senior “clap-out” parade of Class of 2020 vehicles through the village, followed by an outdoor screening of the ceremony and presentation of diplomas to graduates in their vehicles. 

Friends, fans and and students celebrated the 85th birthday of longtime village resident, cellist and music educator Shirley Mullins Wednesday, May 13.

According to Yellow Springs Police, at around 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, an officer responded to a call about an unresponsive male at the cascades at the Glen Helen Nature Preserve.

Yellow Springs Exempted Village School District will be accepting proposals for Food Management Services for the district breakfast and lunch programs.

Roberta Kate Holderman Allen, age 75, of Shelton, Conn., passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020.

After a full and wonderfully healthy life, Sylvia passed away peacefully on May 7, after suffering a stroke.
