Linda Kay Coffman Hanover passed away peacefully Oct. 19, 2023, surrounded by those who loved her.

Carl “Doug/Dougie” Douglas Lowe, born May 24, 1941, passed peacefully with his wife, Sarah, of 46 years, by his side on the morning of Oct. 22, 2023.

Mary Ann Combs Seeley Cole, aged 89, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 16, at Onion Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Austin, Texas, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s; and battle she did.

Stanley W. “Stan” Bailey passed away peacefully Oct. 20, 2023, in Springfield, Ohio, at the age of 93. He was born April 11, 1930, in Springfield.

Susan Jane Eklund-Leen, M.Ed., Ph.D., age 69, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away at home on Oct. 17, 2023.

Joyce D. Merritt, age 86, of Xenia, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Xenia Health and Rehab, with her daughter by her side.

The 2023 season for the Yellow Springs High School and McKinney Middle School cross-country teams came to an end Saturday, Oct. 21, at the district meet held at Cedarville University.
