The locally based Feminist Health Fund will host Women’s Health & Wellness Day on Saturday, Sept. 30, 1–4 p.m., at the Wellness Center, 240 E. South College St., on the Antioch College campus.

After a few losses, the varsity girls soccer team pulled out two at-home wins last week, besting Miami Valley School 6–2 on Tuesday, Sept. 19, and Belmont, 7–0, on Thursday, Sept. 21.

With near perfect running weather, the Yellow Springs High School and McKinney Middle School cross-country teams performed admirably at the annual Fairborn Skyhawk Invitational on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

Carolyn Louise Bradford peacefully passed away at 81 years young after battling lung cancer that was diagnosed earlier this year.

Two local residents, Beth Rubin and Catherine Roma, have been named to this year’s roster of inductees to the Greene County Women’s Hall of Fame, or GCWHF. Since its establishment in 1981, the GCWHF has aimed to honor women living and working in Greene County.

Martin Stromberg, 70, of Yellow Springs, passed away peacefully on Sept. 11, 2023, in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on April 17, 1953, to the late Fredrick and Marie (Wood) Stomberg in Broadstairs, England.
