The Yellow Springs Kwanzaa Planning Committee has announced that this year’s community event will take place Saturday, Dec. 30, 6–8 p.m., at the John Bryan Community Center gym.

Lorine Ashley Watkins, 79, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, in her residence.

Joyce White Sandberg was unstoppable. She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends.

Robert Kingsley Perry Jr. passed away in his residence on Dec. 7, 2023, at the age of 87, from complications of a stroke.
